Shrek Quiz

Project Description

The Shrek Quiz Game is a desktop application designed in Unity, specifically for engaging new students during orientation at the Silesian University of Technology. Inspired by the popular game show ‘Familiada’, this game involves two teams competing to guess the correct answers to questions displayed at the top of the screen.

The application requires two screens to operate:

Player Panel: First screen displays the gameplay, revealed answers, and scores, all set against the backdrop of the Shrek movie theme.
Game Master Panel: Second screen serves as an administrative control panel, where the administrator can add points or penalties, reveal answers, and navigate to the next questions in real-time.

The content for the game is loaded from a JSON file specified at the start of the program.

In September 2024, the app changed its theme to Asterix & Obelix because that was the theme of the adaptation trip for first-year students. The latest versions available on the repository will include minor fixes, as well as a revised theme.

The app was co-created as the Devision303 group.
